Amazon's goods page clearly states the necklace is 1.6 mm in width (much like an uncooked spaghetti noodle)and 2.3 gram weight. This is obviously too delicate for a man's gold chain, yet nice for a woman. At under 2 mm width, most pendants will work.
I have a long, troubled history with gold chains. all from thin box chains to more mammoth rope chains have broken on me. Herringbone gold chains of any width have kinked irrepairably. I've even had problems with gold Singapore or snake chains, knotting, kinking or breaking on me. Because of this, I have quite a whole of sterling silver chains, yet very few gold ones.
Some jeweler friends have recommended Figaro, Mariner or Cuban link gold chains as being durable for quarterly wear, but those chains are ordinarily quite a bit thicker-even masculine-and very expensive. $139 is more than I'd have liked to pay ($60.43 per gram). Lighter, "dental floss" gold chains truly don't hold up to wear. This chain should, and is feminine. I'm happy. Thanks Amazon!
